    This is so annoying. My work laptop was fine yesterday. Today, after a driver update:

No internet, secured

Connected, but nothing loads. Troubleshoot problems?

    it says connected but nothing loads. the troubleshooter says something about the default gateway not being available. i don't know what that means. i'd prefer to fix it properly instead of resetting everything blindly. which commands or settings should i check first to figure out what's actually broken? any ideas??

    uhh what does ipconfig /all show as the IPv4 address??

    oh ive been there lol 'Default gateway is not available' often comes from Wi-Fi power saving. in teh adapter's Power Management tab, untick 'Allow teh computer to turn off this dveice'. hope that helps :)

    been there man VPN clients sometimes leave a virtual adapter or proxy settings behnid. check Settings > Network & internet > Proxy, and uninstall the VPN completely to test. good luck man!

    disabling power management helps, but I'd also check the router's DHCP lease list... sometimes the router is teh one refusing teh address.
