  1. my team keeps asking why i'm not talking in an MMO raid. the problem: my mic works for one second then cuts. my laptop speakers and mic works perfectly in Discord and in Windows' sound settings. i also noticed this in Device Manager:

Ive toggled every voice setting in the game. What else could it be?

i already checked teh in-game voice volume, teh push-to-talk keybind and the mute settings. everything looks right. it just doesnt work, and my team is getting annoyed. thx in advance!!

  2. is your headset through an audio interface set as the Default Communication Device too, not just the Default Device? ?

  3. Check the sample rate. Mismatched sample rates between mic and headset (for example 44.1 kHz vs 48 kHz) can cause robotic or cutting audio. Set both to the same format in the device's Advanced tab.

  4. lol same thing happened to me for teh driver error, reinstall teh audio driver: uninstall the device in Device Manager, rbeoot, and let Windows reinstall it, or install the motherboard/headset makers driver package. hope that helps :)
