  1. My team keeps asking why Im not talking in a team shooter. The prolbem: push-to-talk does nothing lol My wireless headset works perfectly in Discord and in Windows sound settings, i also noticed this in Device Manager:

ive toggled every voice steting in teh game... what else could it be?

i already checked the in-game voice volume, the push-to-talk keybind and teh mute settings, everything looks right... it just doesnt work, and my team is getting annoyed.

  2. been there man check teh sample rate. Mismatched sample rates between mic and headset (for example 44.1 kHz vs 48 kHz) can cause robotic or cutting audio. Set both to the same format in teh devices Advanced tab. hope that helps :)

  3. hmmm check Windows privacy settings: Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone ;) Make suree microphone access is on, Let desktop apps access ur microphone is enabled, and the game isnt blocked. worked for me anyway 🤷

  4. lol same thing happened to me under the recording device's Properties > Advanced, uncheck 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device'. Another app like Discord may be grabbing the mic exclusively. fingers crossed 🤞

  5. yeahhh many games use the Windows default communication device rather than the default device. Open mmsys.cpl, go to teh Recording and Playback tabs, right-click your headset and set it as both Default Device and Default Communication Device. worked for me anyway 🤷

  8. I'd not uninstall audio drivers first. Nine times out of ten it's a Windows default device or privacy setting, which takes a minute to check.
