  1. For anyone lost in their UEFI setup:

    1. Enter the BIOS (usually Del or F2 during boot). 2 🤷 look for "Advanced Mode" or "EZ Mode" at the bottom or top.
    2. On many ASUS and MSI boards its F7.
    3. You can usually set Advanced Mode as the default in the settings so it opens that way next time.

I was convinced my board didnt support SVM/virtualization. It was just buried in teh advanced CPU menu. Feels like the beginner view hides half the board on purpose.

  2. Which motherboard brand and model?? The key and menu names differ. ?

  3. Most boards let you choose teh default view in a "Setup Mode" or similar otpion, so it always opens in Advanced. Worth setting once. good luck man!

  4. ok so it varies by vendor: ASUS and MSI commonly use F7 to switch between EZ and Advanced. gigabyte uses F2 on many boards. ASRock boards often have an Easy Mode toggle with F6. check teh on-screen legend.

  5. oof before changing anything in Advanced Mode, note teh current values or save a BIOS profile. many boards have profile slots in teh Tool or Save & Exit menu. good luck man!
