Curious about everyones storage driver setup. I have a single SSD in my workstation and SE-S084C Firmware from Samsung installed 馃槫 For speed, does the vendor driver bring anything over the inbox one? Ive seen benchmarks posted, but Id rather hear real-world experiences. If youve switched in either direction, Id love to hear what changed for you, if anything. Speed, stability after Windows updates, battery, anything counts. pls help 馃檹
STORAGE DRIVER CHOICE FOR SPEED: VENDOR OR INBOX?
ok but is it a laptop with VMD enabled by default?? ??
single NVMe drive in my workstation.
lol same thing happened to me some SSD makers offer their own NVMe driver. In most cases teh inbox driver performs comparably; only switch if you have a specific issue or feature need. good luck man!

hmm idk i've seen vendor drivers give slightly better results in some benchmarks, but the difference is rarely noticeable in daily use.
