Accepted solution by Kai K. — oof clear cookies for that site only, not teh whole browser, in Chrome/Edge: click the icon left of the address bar Cookies and site data…
  1. something changed and I can't figure out what. last week our ticketing system worked fine in Chrome, today every login attempt ends into a 'too many redirects' error.

I didnt change my password, and the site doesnt show any error message at all. I did tweak some privacy settings recently cuz a video said they were good for tracking protection. could that really break logins? I feel silly asking but Im properly stuck.

  2. oh ive been there lol if you run the site: make suree the cookie domain matches how people reach it. Setting teh cookie on www.example.com but redirecting users to example.com (or teh reverse) creates exactly this loop. Use one canonical host and mark cross-site cookies SameSite=None; Secure. good luck man!

  4. oof clear cookies for that site only, not teh whole browser, in Chrome/Edge: click the icon left of the address bar > Cookies and site data > delete, in Firefox: padlock > Clear cookies and site data. A stale or corrupted session cookie can override teh fresh one and trap you. worked for me anyway 🤷
