  1. guys pls help help. The audio on my ROG Ally X died after a Windows update:

    USB Audio Device Properties

    USB Audio Device Properties
    Device status:
    This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    {Operation Failed}
    The requested operation was unsuccessful.

    I can see teh device in Device Manager, but it has a warning icon. Where should I start?

    id also love tips on how to stop this from happening again after the next update... its teh second time smth like this happened.

    im comfortable following steps in Device Manager if someone explains them. I just dont want to make things worse or end up resetting the whole thing.

  3. Use System Restore to go back to a point before the problem started, if u have one. Search for Create a restore point and choose System Restore. hope that helps :)

  4. if Windows Update keeps replacing the driver, you can use the Show or hide updates troubleshooter from Microsoft to hide that specific driver update.

  14. oof download teh latest driver for your exact model from teh manufacturers support page or through their companion app, avoid generic drivers for handheld-specific parts.
