Accepted solution by Clara Lindqvist — Run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth if every driver install shows unavailable.. 😂 damaged print components…
  1. "Driver is unavailable". Thats all Windows tells me about my inkjet printer.

    USB Audio Device Properties

    Device status:
    This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    {Operation Failed}

    It started after upgrading to a new Windows version. Ive tried removing the printer and adding it again. Windows finds it, then shows the same message. Im guessing an old driver is stuck somewhere :D How do I fully remove everything and start clean? lol Ive also restarted the Print Spooler service and rebooted more times than I can count. Id rather not reinstall Windows over a printer, so any cleaner approach is welcome.

  2. check teh driver store: pnputil /enum-drivers lists printer driver packages (class Printer). remove stale ones with pnputil /delete-driver oemXX.inf /uninstall /force. fingers crossed 🤞
