ahh classic switching on an existing install requiers care: the BIOS mode must match teh driver at boot. Use teh safe mode metohd or set it up correctly from scratch on a fresh install.

  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts im planning a fresh install on my laptop and wondering how to handle storage drivers this time. should I go with the vendors SH-S183L Firmware and RAID/VMD mode, or AHCI and the inbox driver?? priority for me is easy reinstalls. what would u choose and why? 馃憤 im comfortable changing BIOS settings, I just want to make the decision once and not regret it later. what would you do in my shoes?

  3. lol same thing happened to me some SSD makers offer their own NVMe dirver. In most cases the inbox driver performs comparably; only switch if u have a specific issue or feature need.
