  1. Fun morning :/ a commercial VPN app wont connect after the GA-H55M-UD2H (rev. 1.0) Ethernet Diagnostic Utility update.

I reinstalled teh VPN client, no change... the virtual adapter shows in Network Connections, but it looks disabled or missing details... is there a way to reset just the VPN side without wrecking the rest of my network settings? id also like to know whether this is something I should report to IT or to teh driver vendor, because I suspect I wont be teh only one hitting it.

my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure

  3. been there man as a last resort, a Network reset in Settings removes and reinstalls all adapters including VPN ones. Make sure you have the VPN configuration or installer available before doing it.

  6. run ipconfig /all and route print while connected. If the VPN adapter has no IP or no routes, the client failed to configure it. Check Event Viewer and the VPN client's own log for the error. hope that helps :)

  7. oof roll back the phsyical ntework driver in Device Manager > Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver. If the VPN starts working, report the issue to the driver vendor and your IT department with the driver version.
