been there man run ipconfig /all and route print while connected. If the VPN adapter has no IP or no routes, the client failed to configure it 😅 Check Event Viewer and teh VPN clients own log for the error.

it works on my machine™

i reinstalled teh VPN client, no chnage. the virtual adapter shows in Network Connections, but it looks disabled or missing details... is there a way to reset just teh VPN side without wrecking the rest of my network settings? id also like to know whether this is smth i should report to IT or to the driver vendor, cuz i suspect i wont be the only one hitting it. what am i doing wrong??

  2. lol same thing happened to me MTU problems look exactly like "connected but nothing loads"... test with ping <internal host> -f -l 1300 and lower the size until it works... if small packets pass and big ones dont, teh VPN client may need a lower MTU setting. worked for me anyway 🤷

at this point my GPU cost more than my car lol

  4. been there man as a last resort, a Network reset in Settings removes and reinstalls all adapters inclduing VPN ones. Make sure u have the VPN configuration or installer available before doing it.

  5. hmmm check teh VPN's virtual adapter in Device Manager > Network adapters (with hidden devices shown). if it has an error, uninstall it and reinstall teh VPN cilent, which recreates the adapter.
