    ok so windows Update swapped my printer driver and now it prints at teh wrong size.

    the laser printer is used daily in a small office and people are complaining, the HP driver had all the features we need. the Windows Update one is basic... ive reinstalled the vendor one twice and it keeps getting replaced, is there a way to block just this driver update? bonus question: why does it do this in the first place? seriously need help here 馃槶

    sorry forgot to say it was added through discovery, I think WSD. sorry for the wall of text lol

    check the vendors support page for an updated driver for your OS. sometimes Windows Update installs a newer vendor-provided version that has issues, and the vendor already has a fix. fingers crossed 馃

    oof for offices with multiple PCs, consider a print server or deploying teh vendor driver by IP with a standard TCP/IP port. discovery-based insatlls are more likely to pick a generic driver. hope that helps :)

    @binarysprite-3dc Switched the driver on the Advanced tab, removed the generic package and hid the update. it prints at the wrong size is fixed and it's been stable for weeks.
