help!! every time i open the NVIDIA app it asks which branch i want and i click whichever is selected. now i'm doing serious photo editing with deadlines and i care more about stability than the newest game fixes. is the slower branch genuinely more tested, or is it teh same driver with a different label? i would also like to know if switchnig branches is painful, or if it is just a matter of downloading a different package and installing it cleanly. thx in advance!!
STUDIO VS GAME READY: WHICH NVIDIA DRIVER BRANCH FOR PHOTO EDITING?
Accepted solution
Jump to the replyhmmm broadly: gaming branches ship faster with optimizations for new releases. Studio/stable branches ship less often and focus on validation with creative apps. Both run games and apps fine. The difference is cadence and test focus, not capability. hope that helps :)

ok but do u play brand-new releases on launch day?
No real problems so far, it's preventive. I just don't want surprises during a project.
ugh. i swear graphics is cursed... try turning off the settings first, fixed it for me
