  1. so annoyed rn pls tell me this is a driver thing.. lol glitches on the desktop on my gaming laptop, starting right after the GeForce Graphics Driver update:

    gpu artifacts

the card isn't new but it's never shown anything like this before. temperatures look normal 👍 i've tried a different cable and the artifacts are the same. i'd like to know what to test before i convince myself it's dead. i also do some photo work on the gaming laptop, so i realy need to know whether i can trust what i see on screen right now. any ideas??

  2. Do the artifacts show up in BIOS or in Safe Mode, or only in normal Windows? ??

  3. ahh right booted into Safe Mode and the screen was clean. Back to normal mode, artifacts on the desktop again. idk what else to say tbh

have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)

  4. reset any overclock or undervolt, especially memory clock. artifacts that look like small colored blocks are often VRAM instability, and a driver update can change memory behavior enough to tip a marginal OC over. good luck man!

  5. been there man test with a second display output or a different port. If atrifacts move with the screen content in screenshots, its rendering (GPU). If they dont appear in a screenshot but do on the monitor, the cable, port or monitor itself is involved. fingers crossed 🤞
