  1. ok weird one please tell me this is a driver thing. Glitches in the browser on my eidting workstation, starting right after the GeForce VR Developer Driver update:

    gpu artifacts

The card isnt new but its never shown anything like this before. Temperatures look normal. Ive tried a different cable and teh artifacts are teh same. Id like to know what to test before I convince myself its dead. I also do some photo work on teh editing workstation, so I really need to know whether I can trust what I see on screen right now. what am i doing wrong??

  2. yeahhh if artifacts persist after DDU and an older driver, and even appear in BIOS, back up your data and look into warranty. dont keep stress testing a card that shows artifacts in BIOS. worked for me anyway 🤷

  3. ahh classic your BIOS observation is a good clue 😤 if artifacts appear only after Windows loads the driver, but not in BIOS or in Safe Mode (which uses the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter), that leans towards driver/software 🙏 if they show up in BIOS too, think hardware.

  4. ok so reset any overclock or undervolt, especially memory clock, artifacts that look like small colored blocks are often VRAM instability, and a driver update can change memory behavior enough to tip a marginal OC over.

  6. safe Mode being clean doesn't fully clear the hardware. safe Mode barely loads the GPU, sooo a weak card can look fine there.

  7. @apereira DDU plus the previous NVIDIA driver and the artifacts are completely gone. So relieved I didn't buy a new card in a panic.
