geforce quadro graphics driver 319.17 for solaris update and now my screen looks like a broken mosaic

    i installed the NVIDIA GeForce Quadro Graphics Driver 319.17 for Solaris update last night and this morning my editing workstation looked like this in 3D apps:

    gpu artifacts

    little colored blocks, flickering lines, sometimes a whole strip of teh screen goes green for a moment. it doesnt crash, it just looks horrible. my stomach dropped cuz artifacts usually mean dying hardware, right? but its suspicious that it started exactly after the update. how do i tell which one it is without spending money? any ideas??

    have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)

    pro tip: write down what u change, i didnt and had to redo artifacts from scratch, this, so much this hope that helps :)

    ahh classic have u checked your aritfacts settings? mine were reset after an update hope that helps :)
