    im literally losing my mind here please tell me this is a driver thing. glitches in 3D apps on my editing workstation, starting right after the GeForce Graphics Driver update:

    gpu artifacts

    the card isn't new but it's never shown anything like this before... temperatures look normal, i've tried a different cable and teh artifacts are teh same, i'd like to know what to test before i convince myself it's dead... i also do some photo work on the editing workstation, so i realy need to know whether i can trust what i see on screen right now.

    ok so test with a second display output or a different port. If artifacts move with the screen content in screenshots, its rendering (GPU). If they dont appear in a screenshot but do on the monitor, the cable, port or monitor itself is involved. hope that helps :)

    reset any overclock or undervolt, especially memory clock. artifacts that look like small colored blocks are often VRAM instability, and a driver update can change memory behavior enough to tip a marginal OC over.

    Check that teh PCIe power connectors are fully seated and not melted or discolored. Power issues can produce artifacts under load.
