so annoyed rn every time i open teh NVIDIA app it asks which branch i want and i click whichever is selected... now Im doing serious video editing with deadlines and i care more about staiblity than the newest game fixes... is the slower branch genuinely more tested, or is it teh same driver with a different label? i would also like to know if switching branches is painful, or if it is just a matter of downloading a different package and installing it cleanly.
Studio Vs Game Ready: Which NVIDIA Driver Branch For Video Editing?? !!
Check your creative apps system requirements page. Some list a minimum driver version for GPU acceleration features. Make suree whichever branch you pick meets that. fingers crossed 馃
lol same thing happened to me dont hop branches every week. Pick one, note teh version, and only change when something u need is fixed or added. Frequent switching makes troubleshooting harder. worked for me anyway 馃し
printer saw i was in a hurry and chose violence
ehh ive used the gaming branch for creative work for years without issue. the stable branch is nice, but not mandatory. idk maybe im wrong lol
