  1. so annoyed rn every time i open teh NVIDIA app it asks which branch i want and i click whichever is selected... now Im doing serious video editing with deadlines and i care more about staiblity than the newest game fixes... is the slower branch genuinely more tested, or is it teh same driver with a different label? i would also like to know if switching branches is painful, or if it is just a matter of downloading a different package and installing it cleanly.

  2. yeahhh switching bracnhes is easy: download the other package from the NVIDIA support page and install it with the clean install option (or DDU if you want to be thorough). Your apps dont need reinstalling. fingers crossed 馃

  4. Check your creative apps system requirements page. Some list a minimum driver version for GPU acceleration features. Make suree whichever branch you pick meets that. fingers crossed 馃

  5. lol same thing happened to me dont hop branches every week. Pick one, note teh version, and only change when something u need is fixed or added. Frequent switching makes troubleshooting harder. worked for me anyway 馃し

  10. ahh classic if plain office work with occasional games pays your bills, the stable/studio branch is a sensible default. games still run well on it; u just get new game optimizations a bit later. fingers crossed 馃
