Im planning a fresh install on my gaming PC and wondering how to handle storage drivers this time. Should I go with teh vendors SSD Dashboard and RAID/VMD mode, or AHCI and teh inbox driver? Priority for me is Linux dual boot. What would you choose and why?? Im comfortable changing BIOS settings, I just wanna make the deciison once and not regret it later 馃槄 What would you do in my shoes?? im about to throw this thing out the window lol
vendor nvme drivers: real benefits or leftover from another era?
lol same thing happened to me switching on an existing isntall requires care: the BIOS mode must match the driver at boot. Use the safe mode method or set it up corrcetly from scratch on a fresh install. hope that helps :)
the real fix was the friends we made along the way
@fennas839 switched to the inbox driver using teh safe mode method. no difference in speed, fewer things to update. thank u thank u thank u
weird checkerboard pattern on the desktop. the nvidia update is the only change
