ok weird one im planning a site for a local bakery and Im torn. wordPress is the obvious choice and i know it well, but Im tired of plugin updates, security patches and page builders... a hosted website builder keeps coming up as the modern alternative 馃檹 the people wholl edit the site arent technical. is switching worth it, or will i just trade one set of problems for another? real experience over hype, please, Ive read enough marketing pages.
why do devs hate wordpress while clients love it? (a local bakery case)
no e-commerce, but we need a contact form and maybe a simple events list. idk what else to say tbh

how long is 'briefly'? stuck in maintenance mode after my theme
