  1. guys pls help small business, small budget, big headache... invoice emails from teh shop worked fine for months, then suddenly iCloud Mail started putting everything in junk.

We changed our email marketing tool recently, maybe thats related. Im comfortable editing DNS records, i just dont know what the receiving side is looking for. Any help appreciated before we lose more customers. Clear step-by-step answers would honestly save my week right now. seriously need help here 😭

  2. ok but how many TXT records starting with v=spf1 do you have? ?

  3. ok so first, look at what the receiver actually saw... in Gmail use "Show original", in Outlook view message source... look for spf=pass, dkim=pass and dmarc=pass in the Authentication-Results header... anything that says fail or none tells u exactly which piece to fix.

  4. Start DMARC with v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain to collect reports without affecting delivery 🙏 read the reports for a couple of weeks to see every source sedning as your domain, fix them, then move to quarantine. gmail users can also sign up for Postmaster Tools to see domain reputation.

  5. Accepted solution

contact forms that send mail From the visitors address are spoofing that persons domain and will fail everywhere, send from your own address (like noreply@yourdomain) and put the visitors address in Reply-To. good luck man!

  6. hmm idk authentication is necessary but not suffiicent, if the content looks like spam or ppl never open the messages, iCloud Mail will still junk them... clean lists matter as much as DNS.
