  1. small business, small budget, big headache. the newsletter tool worked fine for months, then suddenly Gmail started putting everything in junk.

we changed our email marketing tool recently, maybe thats related 🙏 im comfortable editing DNS records, i just dont know what the receiving side is looking for. any help appreciated before we lose more customers. clear step-by-step answers would honestly save my week right now. any ideas??

  2. A domain must have only one SPF record. two v=spf1 TXT records make SPF return a permanent error. Merge them into one, for example v=spf1 include:_spf.provider-a.example include:provider-b.example ~all, and keep total DNS lookups at 10 or fewer. worked for me anyway 🤷

hmmm first, look at what the receiver actually saw. In Gmail use "Show original", in Outlook view message source. Look for spf=pass, dkim=pass and dmarc=pass in the Authentication-Results header. anything that says fail or none tells u exactly which piece to fix. lmk how it goes

  4. hmmmm not sure about that authentication is necessary but not sufficient. If teh content looks like spam or people never open the messages, Gmail will still junk them. Clean lists matter as much as DNS.
