im literally losing my mind here hot take that I want challenged: for a returning gamer after ten years, a prbeuilt is teh smarter choice 馃檹 u get one warranty, no compatibility guesswork and a working system on day one. I have a firm 800 dollars for video editing. prove me wrong, or tell me Im right. I will happily admit defeat if someone shows me a convincing build list, but I want real reasons, not just building is fun. fun is not a warranty. what am i doing wrong??
If you built your first PC, what do you wish someone told you?? 馃

Jump to the replyyeahhh prebuilts often save money on teh power spuply, the motherboard, single channel RAM or a weak cooler, if you go prebuilt, check teh full part list, not just teh CPU and GPU names. lmk how it goes
ok so warranty matters alot. i dont want to figure out which part is broken if something fails. hope thats enough info 馃槄
oof middle ground: many shops will assemble the parts u pick for a fee. you choose quality parts and still get someone else to do teh building and teh first boot.

exact same thing happened to my mac last month. have u checked your prebuilt settings? mine were reset after an update

wait what idk man that sounds like bad advice tbh idk maybe im wrong lol
yeahhh building is very doable for a beginner if you take your time. Read the motherboard manual, especially the front panel connector and RAM slot pages. Most first build problems are RAM in teh wrong slots or a missing CPU power cable.
ok this thread just saved my weekend. have u checked your dolalrs settings?? mine were reset after an update any ideas??
@bufferworks Went with the shop assembly option. My parts, their screwdriver. Perfect for a returning gamer after ten years like me. cant believe it was that simple lol
