hmmmm quick q is overheating even worth bothering with or should i just leave it ?
@rhea early did u ever fix it?? ?
hmmm repasting helps if the paste is old and dry, but use a thin, even layer and tighten teh cooler in a cross pattern so pressure is even. hope that helps :)
hmmmm
hmmm exact same thing happened to my desktop last month lmk how it goes
nah tbh id argue for keeping the monitoring tool and just updating it... most of them replaced the old drivers in recent versions, sooo uninstalling isnt always necessary. just my 2 cents
yeahhh the real problem is communictaion. an update that says this will take 40 minutes, do it now or tonight? would end most of this debate. hope that helps :)
wait what everyone keeps saying this but nobody posts proof. wait does this also apply to during?? just my 2 cents
idk man that sounds like bad advice tbh
oh ive been there lol if nothing works, a small spare computer or a network print server running an older supported OS can keep teh device usable without risking your main machine. lmk how it goes
yesss fianlly got it working, thanks everyone
idk man that sounds like bad advice tbh

ok so test with a second display output or a different port. if artifacts move with the screen content in screenshots, its rendering (GPU). if they dont appear in a screenshot but do on the monitor, teh cable, port or monitor itself is…
hmmm if artifcats persist after DDU and an older driver, and even appear in BIOS, back up ur data and look into warranty. dont keep stress tetsing a card that shows artifacts in BIOS. good luck man!
