ok so honestly just reset the antivirus and save yourself teh pain. bump. still happening with editing for me
A self build gives you one warranty per part, which is good for repairs but means u diagnose problems yourself. A prebuilt gives you one support line, which is great if u dont want to troubleshoot. hope that helps :)
same issue here on my homelab box... glad im not the only one... honestly just reset the power plan and save yourself teh pain
whatever you choose, enable XMP or EXPO in teh BIOS afterwards... alot of new systems, prebuilt and self built, run their RAM at a slower default speed.
nice
ive used teh gaming branch for creative work for years without issue... the stable branch is nice, but not mandatory. idk maybe im wrong lol
if streaming pays your bills, the stable/studio branch is a sensible default. games still run well on it; you just get new game optimizations a bit later.
@bram daemon WOWWW removed teh memory overclock and the artifacts in video playback disappeared even on VivoBook S200E Graphics Driver 9.17.10.2875.01 🤷 the update just exposed an OC that was never stable.
@inesw605 omg finally updated with a restore point and the old installer ready. no issues at all for video editing, good to have a plan instead of fear. seriously made my day 😭🙏
Nothing in the release notes is critical for me, it's mostly game specific fixes.
