Accepted solution by Mila S. — if streaming pays your bills, the stable/studio branch is a sensible default. games still run well on it; you just get new game…
  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts i use my PC for 3D modeling and some gaming, mostly gaming. NVIDIA offers different driver branches: a gaming-focused one with frequent releases and a more conservative one aimed at creators... the Quadro Driver 337.50 Beta i'm on now is teh gaming one lol should i switch? what do i lose and gain? i would appreciate hearing from ppl who switched in either direction and why. what am i doing wrong??

  2. yeahhh broadly: gaming branches ship faster with optimizations for new releases. Studio/stable branches ship less often and focus on validation with creative apps. Both run games and apps fine. The difference is cadence and test focus, not capability. fingers crossed 🤞
