microsofts Account Lockout Status tool (LockoutStatus.exe) shows bad password count and last bad paswsord time per DC, which quickly shows which site the attempts hit.
ok so pro tip: write down what u change... i didnt and had to redo hotspot from scratch, my destkop is officially hanuted lmk how it goes windows update said 'this will only take a moment' 3 hours ago

Driver updates do sometimes incldue security fixes, so I wouldnt stay on a very old version forever. But waiting a week or two after rleease to see if a htofix appears is perfectly reasonable. worked for me anyway 🤷
been there man for gaming, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. If there's a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, that's usually the better fit.
