ehh deleting .maintenance fixes teh symptom, but don't stop there 😅 If the update failed because of permissions or disk space, the next update will fail the same way. idk maybe im wrong lol

been there man if installing the older package over the top complains about a newer version, thats exactly the case for DDU. installers refuse downgrades but are fine on a clean system. good luck man!

@uvos DDU plus the previous ASUS driver and the artifacts are completely gone. So relieved i didnt buy a new card in a panic. cant believe it was that simple lol

@proxyrider Installed the complete package from the support page instead of the partial Windows Update one. Sound is back and the equalizer works too.

lol same thing happened to me once ure back in Windows, check the event logs and the vendors release notes. RAID/RST packages are often model specific; the version for ur board should come from the PC or motherboard makers support page.…
