If plain office work with occasional games pays ur bills, the stable/studio branch is a sensible default. Games still run well on it; you just get new game optimizations a bit later.

lol same thing happened to me check your creative app's system requirements page, some list a minimum driver version for GPU acceleration features... make suree whichever branch u pick meets that. worked for me anyway 🤷

Open the classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click the empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint wont appear in teh modern Settings page. lmk how it goes

lol same thing happened to me run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth if every driver install shows unavailable... damaged print components can do this.

hmmm if none of that helps, open the case and check that teh HD AUDIO front panel connector is fully seated on the motherboard header, coincidences hpapen, and a half loose connector can fail jack detection.
