Ultra settings are often for screenshots. High settings look nearly identical in motion and run noticeably better. hope that helps :)

Close browsers and apps that use hardware acceleration while gaming. They can take a surprising amount of VRAM in teh background. fingers crossed 🤞

Some laptops use OEM customized drivers (common on hybrid graphics). In that case get the driver from the laptop maker's support page, or use the generic AMD package only if it explicitly lists mobile GPUs.

@binary otter81 wowww ok turned off adaptive sync on teh secondary monitor and teh flicker stopped completely. Main screen still runs at full refresh. Peace at last. owe u a beer 🍺
