@basil.novak Measured both drivers properly and the new one really was worse in a competitive shooter on my small form factor PC. Rolled back and reoprted it. thx for the method!

power plan had switched to Balanced. no idea when that happened. hope thats enough info 😅

oof came here to say exactly this... pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo amd from scratch

@jjansen turned out to be a loose PCIe power connector. reseated it and the crashes in a competitive shooter stopped. the driver update was just bad timing. u guys are the best!!!

ahh right it happened once in a second game, but mostly in a competitive shooter during a cutscene. sorry for the wall of text lol
