dumb question but how do i even check teh default config
Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.9.1 Hotfix Update Refuses To Install On My Gaming Laptop. But The Page Says It Supports My OS!
hmmmm ok ok this thread just saved my weekend. +1 same here
That error is often misleading. Installers check the GPUs hardware ID against their INF file, not just teh OS. Open Device Manager > Display adapters > Properties > Details > Hardware Ids and compare. If you grabbed the desktop package for a laptop GPU (or vice versa), youll get this exact message.
oof this. so much this, have u checked ur compatibility settings? mine were reset after an update lmk how it goes
somewhere an AI is confidently telling someone the wrong fix rn
