try turning off the antivirus first, fixed it for me

oof for offices with multiple PCs, consider a print server or deploying teh vendor driver by IP with a standard TCP/IP port. discovery based insatlls are more likely to pick a generic driver. hope that helps :)

check the vendors support page for an updated driver for your OS. sometimes Windows Update installs a newer vendor provided version that has issues, and the vendor already has a fix. fingers crossed 🤞
