    every family has one person who 'knows computers'. in mine, that's me. yesterday my dad called in a panic: 'a virus is in teh printer'. I drove over, expecting the worst. the real cause was so simple I almost cried laughing. I'd love to hear your stories. what's the funniest, strangest or most heartwarming tech support moment you've had with family? bonus points for happy endings. what am i doing wrong??

    oof be kind about it. people who didnt grow up with computers are often embarrassed to ask... making it feel safe to ask early prevents a lot of bigger problems.

    lol same thing happened to me for me it was teh fan curve 😅 swapped it and boom, fixed. spent a whole week on virus and im still not done fingers crossed 🤞

    ok so boundaries matter. I tell family Ill help with anything once, but if they want something set up, we do it together so they learn. Some do, and its surprisingly rewarding.

    lol same thing happened to me try turning off the DNS first, fixed it for me hope that helps :)
