only a tactical shooter blue-screens my pc. should i blame the game or my hardware?

    this is unbelievable, a tactical shotoer blue-screens my PC on the loading screen:

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED every time.. 🤷 i updated GPU drivers and reinstalled teh game.. :D everything else is stable, whats teh next step??

    other games, benchmarks and long editing sessions all run perfectly. only this game triggers it, which makes me suspect a speicfic dirver rather than general hardware. minidump files are there if someone can tell me how to read them.

    lol same thing happened to me IRQL and page fault stop codes are often caused by a driver accessing invalid memory. Common culprits besides anti-cheat are netowrk drivres, RGB software, and old virtualization or VPN drivers. The dump tells u which one.

    ok so test your RAM. run Windows Memory Diagnostic (mdsched.exe) or better, a full MemTest86 pass. Unstable XMP/EXPO profiles commonly cause crashes that only appear in demanding games. lmk how it goes

    run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to rule out corrupted system files.

    Analyze the minidumps in C:\Windows\Minidump 👍 Install WinDbg from the Microsoft Store, open a .dmp file and run !analyze -v. Look for MODULE_NAME and IMAGE_NAME: they show which driver crashed.

    @solid_deck WinDbg named teh network driver. Updated it from teh motherboard maker and havent had a single blue screen in a tactical shooter since 🤷 Ranked climb resumes! cant believe it was that simple lol
