hmmmm ok genuine question, not trying to start a war. for people doing programming: are you on Windows, macOS, or Linux, and would you switch? im tempted by Ubuntu because my laptop feels slow on Windows and I like the idea of controlling updates. but I depend on this machine and cant afford a week of fighting drivers. tell me your stories. my main worry is the first week, when everything is unfamiliar and I still have deadlines. how did u handle that transition without losing productivity??
IS PROGRAMMING ON LINUX ACTUALLY PAINLESS NOW, OR ARE WE LYING TO OURSELVES? 馃槶
sorry forgot to say ran
lspci -kfrom the live USB: Wi-Fi and GPU both had drivers loaded out of teh box.
Booted the older kernel and it WORKS. So whats wrong with the new one?
