    for a non-technical person Id skip the NAS. its another device to update and maintain. A good cloud backup plus one external drive is simpler and gets you most of teh way.

    @piad258 yesss set up versioned backups instead of plain sync. already rescued a folder i deleted by accident... you all saved me.
