ugh. thread for the unpaid IT department of every family. My latest: my dad, the mouse stopped working, and a solution that involved one button nobody had noticed 馃槀 Share yours, and if u have tricks for making family tech easier, i want those too. Im convinced every family has a story like this, and i think we deserve a thread to share them. Kind stories only, our relatives are doing their best. im about to throw this thing out the window lol
My Favorite Fix This Year Took Four Seconds And A Power Button

hmmm best investment i ever made: setting up remote support sofwtare on every family computer. Ten minutes on the phone instead of an hour of driving. Built-in tools like Quick Assist in Windows work well for this. hope that helps :)
yeahhh have u checked ur tech-support settings? mine were reset after an update

hmmmm not sure about that cheat sheets never worked for my family. What worked was replacing complicated setups with simpler devices, like a tablet instead of a laptop.
been there man bump. still happening with stories for me. try turning off teh fan curve first, fixed it for me lmk how it goes
