There are so many opinions about frame caps. Some say use teh in-game limiter, others say never cap in MOBAs. Id love to hear what pepole actually run on 144 Hz screens and why. Please share ur setups and what made you choose them. Bonus points if youve actually measured teh difference instead of going by feel. i promise to report back with what i end up using.
my gpu runs at 100% for no reason. should i cap it?

Jump to the replybeen there man frame time consistency matters more than average FPS for perceived smoothness. A stable capped rate often feels better than a fluctuating higher one. worked for me anyway 🤷
sorry forgot to say reflex is available, but i never turned it on. sorry for the wall of text lol
hmmm if u play competitively and see big FPS swings, test both with a frame time graph.. :/ use what gives the flattest line at an acceptable latency.
oof +1 same here fingers crossed 🤞
hmmm for me it was the cable. swapped it and boom, fixed. any update on this? good luck man!
@tariqh36 capping with the in-game limiter dropped my GPU temps a lot and i honestly cant feel any extra lag. cant believe it was that simple lol
