After a graphics card driver update caused me a day of headaches last month, I'm rethinking my whole approach. Now I'm wondering if I sholud just stop updating anything that works. How do you decide when an update is worth it? I'd like a simple rule I can follow without thinking too much. Does anyone have a routine that's worked well for years? seriously need help here 馃槶
do you update drivers from a driver updater tool, or never touch them?
sorry forgot to say self-built desktop. the graphics card driver came from a driver updater tool last time. hope thats enough info 馃槄
yeahhh after a fresh install: chipset dirver first, then storage and network, then audio and graphics... get them from teh motherboard or laptop maker's support page, and teh GPU driver from teh GPU vendor. worked for me anyway 馃し
