hmmmm ok nostalgia trhead, cuz today's computers are amazing but a bit boring. My first one came with a CRT monitor that weighed a ton. i spent an entire summer on a pixelated adventure game. Nobody explained antyhing to me, i just clicekd until things happened. How did u get started, and do you think kids today learn the same way? i'm convinced that confusion taught me more than any cousre ever did.
who else remembers a crt monitor that weighed a ton? tell me about your first computer (pls help)
@subnetmonk works on paper, not in real life but hey ymmv

reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets. try turning off teh thermal paste first, fixed it for me
hmmm mine was a hand-me-down with barely any storage. i learned what a file system was by accidentally deleting a folder i needed and spending a weekend getting it back. that's still my best computer lesson. good luck man!
