  1. ok weird one after a BIOS driver update caused me a day of headaches last month, Im rethinking my whole approach :/ Now Im wondering if i should just stop updating anything that works. How do u decide when an update is worth it? 馃槀 Id like a simple rule i can follow without thinking too much. Does anyone have a routine thats worked well for years?

  4. oh ive been there lol after a fresh install: chipset driver first, then storage and network, then audio and grpahics. Get them from the motherboard or laptop maker's support page, and the GPU driver from the GPU vendor. good luck man!

  5. ok so BIOS updates deserve extra care: don't do them during storms or on low battery, and only when the changelog fixes something relevant or adds support u need. fingers crossed 馃

  6. For a stable machine, upadte the GPU drievr when a game or app you use needs it, and update teh BIOS or chpiset only for fixes that afefct you :/ Read the release notes. good luck man!

  7. nah tbh id disagree with never update if it works. Some updates fix security issues you dont notice until its too late. just my 2 cents
