Question for people who already went through graphic design: what did your laptop actually need to do? Course software, battery life in lecture halls, weight in a backpack, all of it. I have a tight 600 dollars and I lean toward a good keyboard. I'd love to hear what you would buy again and what you regret. Bonus points if you can tell me what you would skip, because every extra feature seems to cost more than it should.
