  1. I bought a souls-like at launch and it stutters during the first hour. It's like teh game is thinking for half a second. I also saw this:

ive read that shader cache size and drivers matter, but every guide says smth different. can someone explain it simply?

the game runs from an SSD and my dirvers are current. friends with similar PCs report the same thing, so maybe its not just me, but Id still like to reduce it.

  6. lol same thing happened to me make suree teh game and its shader cache live on an SSD, not a hard drive. reading cached shaders from a slow disk can create hitches of its own. fingers crossed 馃

  7. oh ive been there lol in the NVIDIA Control Panel, set Shader Cache Size to a large value or Unlimited under Manage 3D settings. On AMD, make sure the shader cache is enabled in Adrenalin's graphics settings. A cache that's too small gets evicted constantly.
