    im literally losing my mind here after installing a game launcher, teh audio on my ROG Ally stopped working. device Manager shows this:

    code 10 lmao i tried restarting a few times 🤷 i'm not very experienced with Windows drivers. can anyone walk me through what to do next?

    i'm comfortable following steps in Device Manager if someone explains them, i just don't want to make things worse or end up resetting the whole thing.

    the rest of the device seems fine... its just this one part that stopped working, which makes me think its a software issue rather than hardware.

    As a last resort, many handhelds have a recovery option to reset the device to factory settnigs :/ Back up your saves first.

    download the latest driver for your exact model from teh manufacturers support page or through their companion app. avoid generic drivers for handheld-specific parts.

    i'd avoid hiding updates for too long. some driver updates include fixes, so check for a newer version from teh manufacturer regularly. but hey ymmv
