yeahhh use System Restore to go back to a point before the problem started, if you have one. Search for Create a restroe point and choose System Restore. fingers crossed 🤞

  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts okay, this is annoying. my Windows handheld worked perfectly until a BIOS update. now the GPU doesnt work:

    USB Audio Device Properties

    USB Audio Device Properties
    Device status:
    This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    {Operation Failed}
    The requested operation was unsuccessful.

    device Manager says it can't start. I don't wanna reset the whole device if I don't have to. any ideas?

    The rest of the device seems fine. It's just this one part that stopped working, which makes me think it's a software issue rather than hardware.

    I'd also love tips on how to stop this from happening again after the next update. It's the second time something like this happened.

  2. uninstall teh device in Device Manager, check Delete the driver software for this devcie if available, then restart and install teh correct dirver.

  3. ok so if Windows Update keeps repalcing the drvier, you can use the Show or hide updates troubleshooter from Microsoft to hide that specific driver update.

    my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure

  7. oh ive been there lol download teh latest driver for ur exact model from the manufacturers support page or through their companion app... avoid generic drivers for handhled-specific parts.

  10. In Device Manager, right-click the device, open Properties > Driver and try Roll Back Driver if its available. That restores the previous driver. hope that helps :)

  11. as a last resort, many handhelds have a recovery option to reset the device to factory settings... back up your saves first. worked for me anyway 🤷
