been there man related: Links Awakening has its own file-name easter egg involving teh name ZELDA, but it changes something different.
i'm replaying the original Zelda and found out about the ZELDA name trick.
At file registration, type ZELDA as ur name. The game drops you into the Second Quest from the start. Its teh post-game hard mode with rearranged dungeons and new secrets.
Its one of those things ud only know from a magazine or a friend back then. It works on teh original cartridge and on versions that run teh original NES game. im about to throw this thing out the window lol
second Quest dungeons are in totally different spots, so don't trust your memory of the first quest. bomb and burn everything.
ps i come back to this thread every week just for the drama
hmmm this works on the original NES version; remakes and other Zelda games dont use the same trick.
oh also page 1 lets gooo, is nintendo even worth bothering with or should i just leave it
ahh classic +1 same here good luck man!
@lea_router WOWWW thanks for the bomb everything tip, I found two dungeons that way. seriously made my day 😭🙏
