    i'm replaying the original Zelda and found out about the ZELDA name trick.

    At file registration, type ZELDA as ur name. The game drops you into the Second Quest from the start. Its teh post-game hard mode with rearranged dungeons and new secrets.

    Its one of those things ud only know from a magazine or a friend back then. It works on teh original cartridge and on versions that run teh original NES game. im about to throw this thing out the window lol

    second Quest dungeons are in totally different spots, so don't trust your memory of the first quest. bomb and burn everything.

    your file shows a different sword icon or marker for Second Quest saves, so u can tell them apart on teh file screen. fingers crossed 🤞

    oof pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo zelda from scratch. @quinn.jensen did u ever fix it?

    If u beat the Second Quest, the game doesnt give u a third. Its two quests total.

    lol same thing happened to me WAIT WHAT, a whole second game behind a file name?? :D nintendo in 1986 was wild. good luck man!

    at this point my GPU cost more than my car lol
