One of my favorite environmental secrets ever: the hidden dens in Portal.
in several test chambers u can find openings that lead behind the clean white panels. inside there are messy hideouts with drawings, poems and warnings scrawled on teh walls. one famous message repeats teh cake is a lie.
the dens belong to a character called Rattmann, a scinetist who survived and hid in teh facility, and Portal 2 and a comic expand on him later... its world-building that u can completely miss if you just rush to teh exit. seriously need help here 😭
